Florida Christian School
Required for every student, PK4 through 12th grade
Dear Florida Christian School Families,
Every student in PK4 through 12th grade needs an à la carte account with a payment method on file. This is separate from the Annual Lunch Plan, and it is required whether or not your child is enrolled in the plan.
The account is what lets your child buy from the school cafeteria; and for those on the Annual Lunch Plan, anything beyond the lunch, drink and snack included each day.
Please complete the À La Carte Account and Auto-Replenishment Authorization Form by August 10, 2026, the day before school begins.
There are two ways to add money to your student's account, and they do not cost the same.
| Method | Fee | Automatic? |
|---|---|---|
| Through us — ACH | No fee | Yes |
| Through us — credit or debit card | 3% added | Yes |
| Meal Magic portal — ACH or card | 4% added | No |
Through us. Using the authorization on the À La Carte form, ACH payments carry no fee. Credit and debit card payments have 3% added to the amount you select — a $50 replenishment charges $51.50, and the full $50 goes into your child's account. The account tops up automatically whenever the balance falls below $15.00, so your child is not caught short at the register.
Through the Meal Magic portal. A 4% fee applies to every payment, including ACH. This fee is charged by the Meal Magic platform. Miami Prime Catering does not receive any portion of it.
Meal Magic does not offer automatic replenishment. That is why we set up a separate authorization: it keeps accounts funded without a fee on ACH, and it spares you the phone calls we otherwise have to make when a balance runs low. We expect to consolidate everything into a single system later this school year.
You can continue to use Meal Magic to view your child's purchases, check the balance, set spending limits and restrict menu choices at any time.
On the form you will choose how much to add each time the balance falls below $15.00. Most families choose $50, $75 or $100. A larger amount means fewer transactions and, if you pay by card, fewer 3% charges.
You can change or cancel the authorization at any time by writing to info@miamiprimecatering.com.
Cash may be added to a student account in person at the Main Campus Cafeteria (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) or the West Campus Cafeteria (7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), with no fee. A written receipt will be issued at the time of payment. Cash sent in with your child to top up their account is fine, as always.
Cash deposits do not replace the auto-replenishment authorization, which is required for every student.
Any unused balance at the end of the school year is carried forward to the following school year, or refunded upon written request by email to info@miamiprimecatering.com.
In addition to entering any food allergy or dietary restriction in your Meal Magic account, please email us at info@miamiprimecatering.com before the start of the school year, and again if your child's needs change during the year. Your Meal Magic account controls what your child is able to purchase; your email is what reaches our kitchen staff directly. We prepare food in a shared kitchen and cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
